Adding functionality and style to your closet will improve your overall closet’s organization, and increase the value of your home.
Dealing with corners in a closet is always an issue. This is remedied by having hanging rods go all the way to the wall for those clothes you may not need on a regular basis. These will be obscured by the hanging clothes on the adjacent rack. If they are clothes you use on a regular basis, consider making the last unit on the adjacent wall a shelf rack instead of hanging bars. This will give you extra room to access the corner. Remember…the shelves are only 12″ wide, but your clothes will project roughly 20-24″. Plan for this.Closet organization can give you options such as hanging racks, drawers, baskets, shoe racks, and islands if your closet is large enough. Oval hanging bars give it a clean look and come in a few different finishes.
This unit was stained to match existing cabinetry elsewhere in the home, and was suspended off the floor to not interfere with tall base boards or new carpet. This is also and excellent option for new wood flooring locations.
