Our main job in the month of August was a complete remodel of a 25+ year old kitchen. It began with the gutting of the entire kitchen including an island that separated the kitchen from the dining area. The homeowner wanted a more open plan, and the upper cabinets really obstructed the view and provided very little storage options. At the same time the two bathrooms in the home were also getting a facelift. After all appliances and cabinets were removed, 12×12 porcelin tiles were installed at a 45 degree angle throughout the kitchen, dining, entry, hallway and baths.
New cabinetry with soft-close drawer slides were reinstalled, including a new large pantry in place of the island, and two roll-up appliance garages. A new 4″ crown wrapped the entire kitchen and dining area, to make this one cohesive room. To cap off the lower cabinets, a granite countertop was installed in a beautiful brown/tan color.
